He has the attic room because apparently, he’s always wanted an attic room. And based on the knock, I’m guessing the door is downstairs, which makes sense for an attic room.
Ever since watching the original Charmed, I’ve also always liked (finished) attic rooms. But unfinished attics can be so creepy
