heegeon a manipulative???? are we really fr? the one who’s manipulative here is actually philip and his family. sahan and philip were never really that close. sahan was a mere employee of philip’s; they were never friends. the reason why philip was acting all chummy with sahan was because he thinks sahan could save him. he’s never even considered that maybe, sahan is also clueless, and needs some saving too. heegeon’s begging was actually valid because he’s worried that sahan will once again leave for the moon (and eventually kill himself).
Everyone here is a victim, so saying that Philip is using Sahan is incredibly reductive. They had a shared trauma, literally the only two people that could really understand each other, and that was stolen away from both of them. Yes, I call him manipulative, because he used his fear to keep Sahan at his side instead of letting him take one little flight across the ocean and back.
Everyone around Sahan is so fucking selfish. It wouldn’t have fixed the problem, but he could and should have been able to go, and I hope he never forgives the ML for being such a manipulative little bitch.
