You really can not say that because that so wrong of u. Considering he had been battling with that for the longest, being stuck in a space ship and all. He saw sahan as a means of escape but even sahan himself was just as depressed but came to terms with it. Quite a lot of people have different ways of dealing with depression in which some choose suicide. So you are really wrong for taking like that. Plus we can all tell it’s not Sagan’s fault cuz he has his own battles as well and I’m sure that’s not the author’s goal in this chapter.
Be more open minded and u can have a better perspective of things
I agree and not. It's not sahans fault that he took his own life. It is really unfortunate that he saw that as his only option but I don't think there is no reason to not feel empathy for him. He was struggling and wanted to see him. He would have committed suicide most likely either way but two things can be true at once. It isn't sahans fault in any way but also he needed someone. But also you can't help someone if they don't want to be helped. A person cannot put their whole life in someone elses hands. So yeah and no (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
All I was implying is that it's not sahan fault, cause from sahan personality he's going to blame him self as well as Phillip family.
As for Philip all I can say is that yes it's sad , but there are a lot of preventive measures that were to be taken especially when the family knew he was mentally fragile at that moment, they could has sent him to a rehabilitation center for a longer time, added therapy and always have ppl watch him but they were so lax, the only reason Philip is attached to sahan is because he literally trauma bonded with sahan and has been able to come in terms with reality, so yh it sad and all but his case is not as severe as other phycological characters I have read, he could have overcomed it if he actually put an effort rather than looking for a trauma buddy,
All in all it's sad but no one is to be blamed except the person that took the action (Philip), unfortunately I don't feel sympathetic to anyone who decides to commit suicide cause I know what it means to be suicidal and that is a decision one take upon themselves

Yes I agreee, I also do know and understand what it’s like to be suicidal and I agree with ur opinion. But I guess the way u worded it in the beginning was, uhm harsh I’ll say cuz being stuck in a space for that long will def produce some result that he was executing. I wish his family did a better job for him.If anything it was his family’s fault cuz they didn’t do a better job night to help him. So I do understand the root of ur anger

Well fuck him, it's not sahan fault he is unstable and can't handle himself, he's a grown man if he saw suicide as an only option then that's unfortunate.
So please don't let sahan feel guilty, cause I just know author is trying every way to make this angsty (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
