It's because of how the author is portraying him. Suah would be a complete green flag if not for the rape and his lack of respect. He's very sweet and loving and very obviously cares for Juhyeok beyond his looks and body, also he gets extra points for pretty privilege.
You can think of him as cute while also realizing he's a shitty person. It's when people try to JUSTIFY what he did by using the points above thats a problem.
