I read the novel and it for the most part is drawn as is. I never warmed up to Gjord I can understand the appeal and need for his character as this thankless lover who actions behind the scene prove his love but as he is presented as is to a reader going along the narrative journey, this man just came across as pushy “mysterious” sex pest and that never changed for me.

how the fuck do you expect your bf with MOBILITY ISSUES AND UNMEDICATED SEIZURES AND PSYCHOSIS to cross a country ALONE. like you KNOW he’s been held against his will and given the wrong medication by this man who literally made him disabled yet you expect him to be physically and mentally able to do this journey. ITS SO FUCKING STUPID. and then he has the audacity to be mad at him when he takes a long time to get to you. WTF DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN
