Hello! I’m very late sorry, but I’m a zoology nerd so lemme explain. Most birds like the sparrow in the manga have a reproductive organ called a cloaca, a single, common rear opening and internal chamber through which an animal excretes waste and handles reproduction. Male snakes have something like a hybrid of a cloaca and a regular penis called a hemipenes. Meaning inside their cloaca they have a separate chamber to store their dual penis that only comes out during mating season and is totally separate from their urinary and fecal tract but inside the same hole of their body!
