Well, this is uncomfortable. First time in a while I’ve actually dropped something instead of toughing it out.
“Plenty of those working here are younger than you are. And yet… you seem so young to me… that I forget how to behave myself.” There are too many problematic issues in this work that don’t seem properly addressed and are simply romanticised instead. A romance between 2 people with a decent age gap, in which one has only ever relied on the other as a teacher and parental figure, and is the sole person in his tiny world, is just not for me. That being said, it’s but a work of fiction, and I’m not here to judge any who enjoy simply reading it. Just giving my own two cents.
