i think it’s to show that jaehyuk doesn’t know about homosexuality/the struggles of gay men (garam). Someone who is bi have the privilege to decide if they want to pursue the same or opposite gender, but gay men do not have the same privilege. he was portrayed as homophobic at the start so it would make sense for him to not be educated about it. Him acting like that still implies that he doesn’t get how Garam feels
That‘s not Garam’s point, in Korea they all get included with gay people and there are absolutely no anti-discrimination laws against gay people.

The thing is... even the way Garam thinking is also like Jaehyuk(´_ゝ`). Like in the chap 106, Garam said "If he hadn't met me, he never would have gone gay..." like? Can't they just acknowledge that Jaehyuk probably bi from the beginning? Why Garam has to be responsible for Jaehyuk's sexuality when he's probably just a bisexual man?

And not only this manhwa, I've seen some other BLs with this same scenario of "I'm straight as a pole and I've love women my entire life, there's no way I am gay, but only this one boy could turn me gay". Like these authors only knows the term of "gay" and "straight" and nothing in between ╮(￣▽￣)╭
