weird ass take ngl. i had sex with my gf while at my parents' house in high school. teenagers get horny and have sex. i'd rather they do it in the privacy of their own home with a consenting, age-appropriate partner than sneaking about and being unsafe.

sorry accidentally clicked post. the usa stat comes from the us census bureau data. and around 7.2 mil 18-34 year olds live with their parents in the uk. due to the current economic shitshow, living seperate from one's parents is less and less feasible. are you saying as much as 42% of british ADULTS should not have sex? or are you saying that teenagers should not have sex (i.e. abstinence)?

Now add that with the fact that you're still in high school and having sex in your parents' house? It's not even purity culture for me, it's just weird as hell. At least my parents are married they can do whatever they want. Teenagers get horny and have sex, sure, but you're not gonna fall apart without it and honestly, there are so many ways to express love other than sex. Most teenagers have sex in the first place bc of curiosity and porn. I'm just saying, it's not a popular opinion. Adults, go have sex. Teenagers? Not really.
