it’s not a bad read & the characters are okay but i don’t really get the plot? like the contract marriage feels a little unnecessary imo. she could’ve been hired as an exceptional palace tailor (bc she doesn’t have magic) rather than do the contract marriage w the prince, especially since it’s not like he’s being pressured to get married and both weren’t all that interested in it as a concept. even his whole thing of “i want to marry the person who made these gloves” could still be part of the story without the immediate contract marriage, like he slowly falls in love w fl’s passion for sewing and her potential to change the fashion industry in the empire yada yada yada. the explanation for why this arrangement even happens doesn’t make much sense to me, but maybe i’m missing something???
