Oh man such a good story with complex women characters but the readers are too dense to appreciate anything other than the MC… You’re meant to get frustrated with everyone and also appreciate and understand them. Maxi can be said to be annoying because of her insecurities, but she has a backstory to it. Same goes for the sister, who chose to help her despite them never really interacting with each other. I feel like people only like women characters when they’re the textbook nice, kind girl.
