There’s using rape realistically in a story (killing stalking) and then there’s sexifying rape in a ‘writers barely disguised fetish’ sort of way (here and unfortunately a lot of straight and bl pornwhas).

I understand adding r*pe to a story if its necessary for character development. Like the mc having a tragic backstory or something but when it happens this often for no reason it makes it hard to read. Not sure how much longer the art can keep carrying this story.
