Dear Door had hella plot and the theme was an orgasm let's someone travel to hell, so gtfo with that nonsense "plot isn't in the room" lol I still want them to have a reason to fall for each other, since we all know there will be some angst or a twist they'll have to choose each other for. It's the path all of these comics follow it seems like, and when it's missing it means it will be short. I should just go reread Dear Door lol
Right but at the beginning it was just sex until we got some more plot (have read dear door idk how many times and it’s still my favorite), clearly this one is more smut focused but we are getting bits of plot/lore and hopefully the Mc’s backstory in the next chapter. So far I think yeah half the chapters being smut isn’t the best for plot… but it’s also only 8 chapters and seems to be a much bigger story than just sex to get rid of plant the end. Could be wrong, hope I’m not.
Art is great, but the pacing is ass and there's no real romantic development beyond sex and they're already in love?
