It's actually very mature and kindness of jihan handling shinwoo's other side really gently and understanding him even the other shinwoo also, I think shinwoo's past trauma have caused him to accept the fate he doesn't deserve happiness in his life, to that point of thought, he behave harsh and rude as defensive mechanism, may not fall in love or he doesn't deserve kindness of what he didn't even intend to cause tragic accident. Also the way jihan trying to not get shinwoo's words into mind and handling it in a manner knowing he is not his right mind on saying this and still staying with shinwoo, may feel the assurance that jihan accept him the way he is but I do hope he treats his trauma and get better along with it.
