As much as i hate the previous 2 chapters, this chapter is really good and just shows how well written it is.
Juheon didn’t ran away because Dohu used him as an inspiration. He ran away because he was afraid to be hurt again by the person he cares about. Just like it always happened to him in his past.
Like we knew that he never stopped caring about Dohu. He want's him but at the same time he's scared of that. He’s scared of being attached, scared to hope, and in the end scared of getting hurt again.
And this is really because of his past, all of his wounds are opened when facing him. That’s why he has the internal conflict between hope and anxiety. And that’s why he runs away just to be free from feeling all those emotions. He is emotionally exhausted of everything. He just doesn’t want to feel anything anymore.
And that’s what the hard part is. He want’s Dohu, he still has feelings, longing towards him. He finally gets it that Dohu’s feelings towards him are genuine.
And he is still facing his past. That’s why he still isn’t giving in. But what i find interesting is the panel that Dohu confesses (i think), we see a line being “cleaned”, something between them is wiped away. Thats where we see Juheon realizing what he’s facing. And so how he is realizing that running away isn’t going to do anything and he really has to face it whatever he needs to do.
