He is actually like a born baby who didnt know about emotion and empathy. He was grown up like that… there will be more reason later. Its quite fcked up journey. Only Dane who was bit by bit teaching Grayson how to know about love and everything.
And that scene is the first (maybe second) hint he is questioning about empathy. He will ask A LOT , through Dane…. Like a baby who just learn something new. (Its very sad actually and personally)
Seems like he is trash ( for now ) , but later he is a trash who can be recyclable trash (?) he is still redflag but he still get direction… he will sorry ( a lot of sorry) to everything he has done (literally).
Dane also cant feel love.. he never bothered about someone loving him…and he will learn too through Grayson..
Thats why if they look like they are not match, they actually fated together..
