Interesting. i hope the ML has feelings for the MC and was badmouthing him just because he wanted people to not try to get closer or something.. also I hope he said that about “preference” bc of some reason, like “don’t wanna scare him confessing right now ” or something… If it turns out he was actually sincere.. well, that’ll be a big disappointment…
