contrary to other commenters, it felt a bit disappointing reading this. don’t get me wrong, the art is gorgeous but i just despise the “everyone else is so dumb that they make the mc look smart” i just wish the two villains (the blonde and the empress) were smarter. all their little schemes were stupid and they’re the type to yell and throw a bitch fit when things don’t go their way.

while i appreciate the mc and i actually think she’s one of the more tolerable mcs in this generation of slop rofans, i just wish the villains weren’t so fucking dumb. also, the whole “she stole my dress!” scheme being the ONLY scheme the blondie had at the banquet was truly…disappointing. like you couldn’t come up with anything else better?

additionally, i wish we saw the mc struggle more. i actually really like the fact that she doesn’t know what novel she’s in. i appreciate it when an mc isn’t some mary sue who’s omniscient. but also, it felts lacking that every action she took was because she already knew what was going to happen in the future. i wish authors integrated the butterfy effect more. like for example, because the mc did xyz, it caused the villains to act in a different way which throws her off. it would be so much more interesting if she had to adapt to these changes but this is just my wishful thinking. it would’ve been nice if we saw more of her other three lives. overall, i think this is one of the better stories with the regressor trope. my only complaint is that the villains were too dumb.
