man, this novel was so bad. i really think this is the worst lightnovel ive read so far, it’s honestly kind of amazing how the manhwa made it so much better. i hope they continue to flesh things out in the manhwa rather than following the novel plot. the novel reads like it was written by a 16 year old who just wrote a bunch of different scenes out of order and stuck them together without even trying to connect them in a way that makes sense. also don’t get me started on the runaway arc… yumin i love you, but literally 45% of the novel is him running away because he thinks the top is going to EAT HIM. like i need you to be so serious rn. and the misunderstand jeeps going for so long i eventually just had to skip to where they get together again. and there are so many random story lines that get cut off or go nowhere. the smut is also badly written. regal less imma keep reading the manhwa but the novel really isn’t worth your time
