That is a sticking point with Lily's condition. They can argue that playing with a friend is good for her health. It would help if Lily wants to go. In any case, it seems a lot quicker than all the legal avenues they are considering.
There is a very simple way to get them to meet. Just ask the facility for permission to have Lily visit Mori at their house for a playdate. If her dad happens to be there to see Maria, well, the facility doesn't need to know that detail.
