Along with the fact beings who would realistically have no need to help the MC sticking to her side because she’s realistic something far more dangerous. I’m wondering what the truth behind her nature is? Maybe humans from our world are just naturally on a higher plan of existence so that’s why they’re using the bug comparison. I’m wondering if as she gets closer to other if she’ll seem more human to them or if it’s more like her owning a bunch of pet bugs.
