Yeah y'all, when the names are stupid, it's just really hard for me to get into the story. Like I'll try to change the name in my head but as soon as I read it, Ijust can't. Also I get that it's a spy name but it's a lame spy name. And yeah, Amber is a normal name, it's just that it's primarily for girls but also the name of this is Amber alert so it just feels stupid to me.

And it's just everything together that makes this dumb, like the mugging scene. Did the author like look into the names, the population they were seeing this around, etc.? Like if you look at The Beast Must Die ML was like America is large and there's little to no cctv, it would be a good place if i get the urge to kill. Like it takes some simple googling to weave something about a place into a story in a way that makes sense & the characters with non Korean names had normal names.
