Finished the novel and honestly Grayson got redeemed in my eyes lol
he does have some character development but more than anything else I think he gives off vibes of a strong neuro divergent person who never really got the help he needed and I think it’s good that by the end he got someone who accepted that part of him and could help him/point him out gently when he messed up without using his handicap (because truly, the whole pheromon thingy is what it is) as an excuse for his wrong doings.
It’s also realistic how some people still don’t like him despite knowing his circumstances and some people try to change their view of him but can still feel awkward because of his actions/not quite understand him all the time. I feel that’s really close to how people with strong handicaps are treated irl by neuro typical people.
