Ashley, his father neglected them emotionally he hates his children who's similar with him just like being a dominant alpha cz he thinks being one has mental illness. Chse is totally aware of what he is doing. He even explained why he tried to shoot that paparazzi. Chase is a massive asshole to everyone else aside Josh and he is violent, and even him he tried to kill twice. There was a reason why they couldn't find any bodyguards who wanted to work for Chase.
Oh, and Grayson is an selfish asshole, and his "help" can be really dangerous, but he at least doesn't know what he is doing. Which doesn't make it any better for his "victims".
So considering that none of them is a green flag.
And about the kidnapping, did you forget? He only returned the favor, since it was Dane who tried to kidnap Grayson for Josh in the first place.

If you consider only the pairings, there actually is something that makes Grayson greener to Dane and the other couples I read of: his love became selfless at one point.
