The fact that he wanted to be an omega and the reason is merely because he wanted to have kids, like dude, you can have kids as you are now. It just shows us how he is an actual child and is still immature to think that turning himself into an omega is a valid answer to his goal. Also, did he even stop to think about what he should do if he ever became an omega with kids? How the hell is he supposed to take care of them with limited job opportunities....
I'm obviously thinking too deeply into this but I just wanna say that the plot sucks, the concept sucks, and the characters suck.
