Can somebody explain to me why tf yuta just willingly walked to the van knowing he was gonna raped??? It doesn't make sense!!! It's like the last two chapters didn't mean anything. If he's still suicidal, why not jump off the roof or something like that instead giving those fuckers the satisfaction of raping him?? this is pmo

that still doesn't make sense!!! he knows damn well Seunghyun is gonna go after him right away!! He's actually putting Seunghyun in more danger. After the last two chapter, you would think he would be a little bit less self-destructive and figure out something together with Seunghun, but no, let's willingly go raped instead.

I think Yuta still hasn't fully convinced himself that Seunghyun actually cares about him, and like.. can you blame him? 10 years of that kind of pain doesn't just vanish like that"

Yuta endured a life of torture mixed with moments that should have been pleasurable, enjoyable. He doesn't believe he deserves to be loved and associates pleasure with pain. Even though he tries to have a relationship with Seunghyun, he always reverts to what is "familiar" to him. Also, he sees this behavior as a way to punish Seunghyun for abandoning him. And why didn't he simply kil* himself? I think he feels alive looking for his revenge and doesn't realize that what he feels is actually love.
That's just my opinion, but I think he still has many layers, such a sad backstory

True, I can understand that. I would be doubtful of his feelings too even after everything but still doesn't makes sense to me him willingly walking to the van

Yuta said it himself before, he never planned to keep living. So the moment he walked out that door, he was prepared to die.

Thanks, your opinion makes sense. I understand his emotions are very complex and as you said, there are many layers to him. But after the last two chapter, do you think he still wants to punish Seunghyun? Maybe I'm seeing things just black and white or maybe is bad writing, idk, but him willingly walking to the van without saying anyting to Seunghyun really pmo

I think so, yes. He clearly had this planned for a long time, and even though he seemed different in the last chapters, Seunghyun couldn't change his behavior overnight. Imagine: he spent years planning his revenge after everything that happened to him, and when he finally met Seunghyun, he showed him affection. Like, when has he ever even felt that? They doesn’t process these emotions the same way, for Yuta that’s fake as hell and he thinks it's easy for Seunghyun to feel these things because he's never been through the same humiliation or pain as him, if he had, he wouldn't believe in this love either. He wants to be understood, but only therapy can fix him lol (oh boy, I’m sorry for the long reply)

The more bitter the story gets, the sweeter it'll be when Yuta and Seunghyun finally get to be happy together. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

No, don't apologize, I actually love your reply. I'm not very knowledgeable about the complexity of mental health struggles that develop after trauma, so it's interesting to learn about it

I find it interesting too! Although there are people hating on these series, I think the author is doing a great work with Yuta just like they did with Jooha, difficult development for characters that are almost impossible to save. But yeah definitely a hard story to digest for most people
