There is nothing wrong with pointing our character flaws. Suha’s behavior is abusive and should not be normalized. Yall love to use the can’t handle dark themes line but what’s wrong with stating facts? Not all the comments need to be positive especially when the criticism is valid.

We don’t have to have an opinion about everything, so you know characters don’t have feelings. But authors do. We need to be more understanding that it’s a story not a guideline for life.

The author took a break from reading comments because people opinions flow like the wind each week. The story not even finished but people demonize the characters before the story is completely over. Imagine this happening with POTN.

A cartoon character behavior is not a guideline for real life behavior. I knew cartoons was fake (not real) they can use a weapon to blowup their neighbors house or jump off a bridge and become flat as a pancake. I laughed it was funny. I knew there was consequences for doing that in real life.
My point is the argument is stupid. Of course no-one would stay with anybody that would force themselves on you, beat you or hurt you in anyone. Love doesn’t hurt physically, emotionally or mentally that’s 101. Thats why kids under 18 shouldn’t be read adult material because you can’t differentiate between real life from fiction. I never said cartoon character. I said 2d character. And you’re using the example of kids' cartoons mind you in your previous post you were talking about how you can’t handle dark themes. People do use stories as a guideline to real life. Stories change people they have power. And a pattern I’ve noticed is that characters like Suha’s are becoming the norm. That has the power to set the social norm. I know I’m a grown woman and I know this is wrong but we know damn well there are 12 13-year-olds on this Website. And I’m not saying, toxic characters aren’t allowed to exist, but the way we protect society is by hating on them so that no one impressionable will think that their behavior is OK.
Kids have underdeveloped mind. And shouldn’t be consuming adult material because they have a hard time differentiating between positive and negative behaviors. And understanding consequences for those said actions. Now as an adult, I’m entrained by these authors stories, the messier the better (for me). You can hate on a character, but lay-off on the author. When these adult and children readers attack the author over a characters personality trait. It’s too personal and wrong. They’re just stories. Literally!!! like I got into this shit when I was 11 by accident you can't stop kids from reading this and the only way those kids won't end up fucked in the brain is if they see actual criticism.
