Literally I can't put this down. Like I really don't fw any aspect of this situation since its really fucked, and honestly a waste of a beta mc---but I still want the mc to be happy and I think he one of the FEW pregnant mc's in this situation who I think actually want the CHILD and their own family. If this was some--"no its OUR baby I cant give it up boohoohoo", or ,"No, im not at all mentally or physically ready to have a child, but Im gonna do it anyways cs im dumb asf"--type of story, then I would be irritated and angry. But honestly, given the MC's background, I do think he truly wants to have a family of his own to care for and love (NOT saying you should have kids when you're lonely. Please don't do that. Just go see a therapist.), and he is old enough, a capable adult man, and he has enough job experience to be able to get a good enough job to support himself and his child. Now given that this is one of THOSE stories, its obvious that this isn't how it will play out, but I'm happy that ATLEAST in this situation the MC isn't totally reliant on the whims of the ML--nor is he completely hooked on the ML either.
