High school(?)/modern day/low fantasy/drama/kinda fucked up
It had a cute artsyle, definitely Japanese. There are two main characters, a loner hated guy and a cute loved girl. I remember stuff vaguely, but the events might be out of order slightly:
It begins with the girl meeting him in the stairwell of the schools where the guy frequently eats alone. She is nice to him and then somehow (i genuinely forgot what leads up to this) he gets ahold of some device that connects to fantasy-like game world. The girl gets dragged in and now she is a magical girl (?). The world has game mechanics and other real life people can also teleport to it if they have device. It has a fighting system similar to mortal kombat/injustice.
BUT THERES A CATCH. The girl doesn't have autonomy over own body, the guy can control her body to fight against rivals. I think if you lose, you die irl (?). But you can return to real world once the match ends.
After a while of doing these matches, the girl decides she doesn't want to do it anymore and avoids him. Guy gets angry and confronts her, he lashes out at her saying "you're my girlfriend, why the fuck are you avoiding me!!!". The girl was confused because they aren't actually dating, turns out this guy (fucking loser btw) thought that her giving her number to him meant she was flirting and was the start of a relationship. He thought he owned her. SHE WAS JUST BEING FRIENDLY IN THEIR FIRST MEETING BCZ SHE FELT BAD THAT HE WAS LONER AND WANTED TO BE HIS FRIEND.
Out of spite, he continues forcing her to fight. He tries SAing her in the classroom in one chapter, but they get interrupted.
There was also another character who turns into a magical girl in the fantasy world, she has a paypig who controls her.
Anyways, main girl meets new friends who help her deal with loser Guy. He's litteraly humiliated in the last few chapters.
