"what did all of those years of growing up mean" is directed towards the AUTHOR & how the story is moving. you know how many chapters we've went through & you know how much it's been shown that wolfie has grown in maturity, intellect, etc. i simply didn't want all that to be reduced to him being kidnapped again by the same man he's also been investigating for a while
