Mc was scared cuz Kister, a convicted serial killer, took an interest in him when they had just met and even said "Ah you're my next..." It kept replaying in the MC's head because he didn't finish his sentence and MC thought he might have meant to say something like "You're my next victim." Him seeing the photos of the victims in his brother's notebook and also the recurring dreams he had were also catalysts.
I thought it was pretty obvious thats why he was nervous. Also he didn't even want to interview a serial killer in the first place he was tricked into it, he was nervous even before the interview.
Im on chapter 16 and why is the mc like so scared? Like did i miss something?? Like he did an interview but after hes been acting like hes the main focus which is so confusing like
