Tbh punching someone in the stomach is such a retarded way of making someone puke out poison. The writer has no idea how to do first aid... For those that don't know, you want to make the person that ingested pills or whatever else gag by pushing fingers into their throat or some other object, preferably clean one. (This doesn't work for having chunks stuck in throat or lungs obviously)
