Your feelings might be hurt but the antecedents are all there to prove my point. If Jaekyung had been some psychotic bastard, or Kim Dan had been more slutty or even annoying, or if we had had a love triangle with that actor guy, where we are all divided on who to ship with whom, or if it had been all so toxic instead of as smooth sailing as it is, a lot of you would have eaten it up.
I bet if Kim Dan had gotten gang raped by those stupid gangsters, or assaulted by Baek Jimin so he could be rescued or even maybe even had sex with that French guy in France, some haters would have considered this manhwa a masterpiece.
I mean, we have Kiss Me, Liar where the uke got beaten up and raped by a random Aloha that he himself hired to just beat him up and so many people have not only advertised it on their socials but have also advertised all the author’s other works and then there’s me who couldn’t even bring myself to finish reading it or even pick up the other works cos I am still traumatized by that knowledge.
But yeah, Jinx is so toxic that it has so many haters.
