As far as I remember, he still wouldn't get it XD and Josh would tell him that he'd introduce Peter to him (without explicitly saying that Chase is the "mother"), only said that Chase would love/like Peter. Chase would only then realized that he's the "mother" after meeting and playing with Peter in the amusement park.
Knowing what happens next in the novel after Josh said that to Chase is making me laugh. HAHAHAHA i love this dumbass so much
