i feel like ppl hating on this sm i undertsand that sudden fluff ends in this kind of toxic stories are so unrealistic or overused but this story wasn’t that toxic or black flag to begin with. ml was pretty scumbag yes but i don’t think it was an that big problem that u guys suggesting that they should stay apart or he don’t deserved this ending. their only problem was lack of communication, mc himself admitted that he was putting cold act or distance himself in purpose since him being gay was problem in the family and he didn’t wanted to get attachted to the mc and expreince pain of losing him later on. soo no he didn’t change in overnight, it was literally his real version that mc found cute in s1, he just stopped acting. even stories like waterside night or sadistic beauty got happy endings despite mc’s went through worse idk why you guys are so pissed off about this one. ending seem rushed and unsatisfying maybe but it’s not unusual for endings to let some of problems hanging and handle them on side stories(for example shape of symphaty had like 60+ side stories if i’m not wrong and main couple even started to dating there,)
