In this world stereotype and discrimination is pretty common ( no shit sherlock), Juhyeok’s mom is the prime example. Idk how were both characters upbringings that lead to they believe that Omega would look weak, small, beautiful; Alpha would look strong, rough. But those beliefs implanted in even in their early years. Suddenly manifested into an Omega caused stress to Juhyeok already and only to recieved negative reaction from his mother. Sure that she love him, but her subconscious stereotype reaction made he think being an Omega is something so shameful and weak. Su-ah also was devastated to found out he became an Alpha, and felt the pressure from Juhyeok constantly wishing to protect him like a damsel in distress (so for the language, I know they just kids, I just trying exaggerate to make my point across). Anyway, It is sad that both still haven’t get over their trauma even when they reached adulthood, which will lead more anxiety for me to read from chap 9 onwards….sigh.
