Idk about you, but if I was in the pov of the parents I'm more concerned both of the kids getting hurts instead as to how ml always screaming he wants to kill mc. Like there's no way you will understand ml actually miss mc just from that alone unless he verbally says that he miss him, idk about the psychiatrist though, seems like a quack
I think there will be more stuff revealed in future chapters and some stuff will make more sense I guess, but as someone who read the novel I kinda appreciate the parents because they understood that the two children involved are both victims and kinda made sane decisions.
I find it odd how the parents never bothered with findin or seein the kid that was used to kidnap their son and also helped save their son. and no psychiatrist presented the idea to i dunno have him meet the kid he kept yellin for for some sort of closure like hes really traumatized and he seen him as a source of comfort and resentment two very different feelins for a kid to have i wish this made more sense i dunno
