This manga genuinely has such, an insidious undertone. It's actual horror, body horror, gore, psychosis, I'm scared, I've never read/watched something and been genuinely afraid of the depictions... disgusted for sure, uncomfortable definitely, but never scared. I've read so many so called "psychological" works but this takes the cake, the tone setting at the beggining if each chapter the the MC's distorted and hijacked POVs, the morphed character designs, i want to puke, or cry... who knows. I cant stop reading though. I can't.
Anyway I have to go read/watch something with hearts and love now so I can sleep. Bye bye.
