i did read it, but i lowkey forgot half of the passion novel except for the last bit... but from what i remember taeui (+jaeui) manage to escape xinlus house (idk if he convinced him to let him go i literally forgot their whole interaction) and then taeui and ilay reunite at the airport where ilay takes him to a hotel and shit goes down also taeui does end up telling ilay that he didn't run away incase u was wondering
