Fair enough, maybe i shouldn't have brought up "all." My point wasn't to say your criticism is invalid. I do agree that some authors use reincarnation as a convenient way to sidestep the ethical implications of the relationship. I just don't think every reincarnation story does that for the same reason. Some use it as a plot device, while others use it specifically to justify the romance. I think those cases should be judged individually rather than grouped together
And personally, i don't think this particular story falls into the latter category, which is why i disagreed with applying that criticism here

i read the novel, really love the plot and it's quite a refreshing story. the ml is actually the reincarnation of ria's (fl) lover. he was killed by his twin older brother. the brother killed ml after ml told him he will propose to fl soon
