I see one glaring issue with this that I can’t overlook

Will start by saying that otherwise this is a pretty entertaining read. It would’ve been a 4/5 otherwise but without clarification on this I can’t give it higher than a 3.

How long was Sooyeon actually left waiting for Honam? Weeks? Months? The timeline is left unclear. If Sooyeon cracked and gave in to Dajun after only like six weeks, that’s a problem. But if the lack of contact, secrecy and lies was ongoing for six months? I can see and understand why Sooyeon broke down. I’m not condoning what he did, but he must’ve felt so lonely and it’s not like he could’ve ended things with Honam anyway since he couldn’t even reach him. But having the knowledge that he waited for so long to be met with nothing would make it forgivable imo. The relationship was basically over by then, maybe not in Honam’s eyes but in Dajun’s.

Also (and this is an even bigger spoiler), I’m glad that Honam’s memories didn’t come back. It would’ve made things so much harder for everyone. I appreciate his honesty that he regrets becoming human though, even if it’s far too late.

I think before the six months honam came back 10 days after he was gone so maybe he did came back from time to time but still sooyeon went from seeing him every single day for 4 years to suddenly have no contact from him for irregular days. for someone who needs love and affection it must've been very hard for him, especially when his partner couldn't even say for how long he'll be gone
