So this whole time Luca thought that Andrea killed Misha, but Andrea knew about his sister running away with Luca the whole time. Misha has a congenital heart condition that meant she was going to die by 20, but she ran away with Luca at 17 and Andrea thought he should let her be happy as long as he could. She lived past 20 and gave birth to Dante, but the stress of giving birth made her bed bound.
Luca's father is the one who killed Misha. Luca's father wanted him to come back to the Mafia. He was supposed to lead the family one day but he ran away with Misha. So Luca's father killed her to make him come back. Misha overheard them talking about killing her and called Andrea to tell him about it. She told him she was okay with dying and that he should take care of Luca, but Andrea came to where they lived to try to stop it. He got there too late and Luca showed up right after him and attacked him so Andrea fought back.
They tell Luca about all of this and since he didn't know any of this he feels bad and gives up.
