Taeui did try to communicate it was more obvious he was in the novel but the manhwa can’t exactly adapt it as well as words, it’s the sole fact that the villa was actively being bombed that Ilay could not hear what was Taeui saying, which ends up fucking everything up in the end :( poor taeui
