I’m quite late to this story but I’m providing my opinion anyway haha. This was clearly made my an amateur who wanted to do something “unique” without doing proper research. I can point out so many flaws, especially as a person with p-DID myself. The portrayal of DID in this might be one of the worst, if not THE worst representations I’ve seen in BL. It was halfassed, rushed, and completely contributes to the stigmatization of DID and dissociative disorders as a whole. The evil alter stereotype? “Disappearing forever?” Can’t find information for the disorder? It’s all poorly done, incorrect, and just plain bad. Not to mention how awful Yirong and Zhen’s relationship is. There’s NO way someone who was borderline abused, kidnapped, and treated so poorly would be madly in love with their partner. 1/10.
