Idk it seems quite understandable to hide it when murder is the leading cause of death for pregnant people (even more than obstetrics causes) ppl really love killing pregnant women over unwanted pregnancies. it doesn't matter if it's the person you love, sometimes it's just about safety or fear of rejection
