This seems to happen after Xinlu and Yuri parted ways after Xinlu's discharge from the hospital and before they meet again when Xinlu asks Yuri to work for him.

I don’t think this is a considered a spoiler, but heads up, xinlu absolutely hated yuri in the beginning, xinlus older brother asked yuri to work for xinlu and take care of him. I highly recommend the novel, I loved Raga so much compared to passion, I reread it annually lol
