I think it’s so interesting that this is BL authors can’t seem to see SA as the serious thing that is it. Let’s be frank here, I’ve seen many stories where it’s like - omg he gets SA’d as a plot device, but don’t worry guys cuz BIG POINT WHERE THEY DISREGARD THE SA: he’s the male lead so it’s ok OR 1. The guys were smaller than the ML (Added +) it actually didn’t count becuz he never got penetrated 2. The ML fucks him right away to “reset” the MC 3. Becuz he’s there, the MC is immediately healed and he has no trauma to the SA itself 4. It’s just a plot point, it’s wrapped up and now we move on
It drives me up the wall that these are the standards of BL. Like no, that’s not… that’s not how that shit works for a LOT of people. If they can’t write it into the story right without some bogus ass fucking excuses they shouldn’t be writing on the topic AT ALL but again that’s not how a lot of BL work since it’s used as a device to just drive their relationship and the plot further without actually holding any stake to either.
