I get him not wanting to be dependent, I get all that and respect it. My problem is it's just getting tiring, the mc just whines without effectively communicating, he communicates very well in his own thoughts but when it comes to actually doing it he acts difficult. As for the ML it's like his personality/character changed? Which isn't really weird considering a few years passed, but I just feel like before he was more thoughtful and understanding. I get feeling jealous but I don't like how he acts when he is. Neither of them is abusive or over dramatic, bur it's just tiring, I don't think this plot point deserves to be dragged out like this.
