Depends. In this case they have nannies and servants that fully provide for their children.
The only way neglect becomes abuse is if the child is starving or uncared for. In this case we can see that although the parents aren't as directly involved as they should be with the child in terms of nurturing they indeed do care. They make sure the child is well fed and has proper care in terms of daily necessities and social standing.
I honestly do not see any signs of abuse. Some neglect yes and while I agree neglect can become abuse but not in this case. The parents clearly care and the children know it. Just not as much as they actually should.
I know what you’re saying but it’s emotionally abusive is what they mean it’s clear neither brothers or even the parents or grandparents understand how to properly communicate and raise a child with love. Since it’s dated for the time it’s taking place in then yeah but they don’t need to be starving or anything. I think the family sucks but it doesn’t suck in the way of pure hate it’s just normal neglect for the time

This is good. As for the people hating on the family. Ye they ain't good but they're not abusive in any way. People saying they'd want his family to burn are wacko in themselves.
His parents aren't amazing nor would they be counted as good but they're not horrible. They care in their own way albeit neglectful I agree. But not to the point of being abusive nor to the point where I'd categorise them as abominable.
