- Slave trope will never die in the Isekai genre. I've learned to deal with it unfortunately. Same shit with random flashbacks from childhood. Not a fan of this one either. All of thetendion that has been build up feel flat after the reveal especially when it starts to get interesting but it's still in its premise. I guess it's a cultural thing but I don't think meeting someone when you're a child is always romantic. It can be done right but in that case it feels like a cheap way of reinforcing the relationship between the mc and the butler. Let's not start with the implications of fucking a guy who cannot physically disobey you because making a slave a romantic interest was a choice =)
